Programs

Project CHILD (Changing How Instruction for Learning is Delivered) for grades K-5 is the Institute’s flagship program. Created and designed by Dr. Sally Butzin, the original research began in 1988 at Florida State University. Since then Project CHILD has been successfully implemented in tens of thousands of classrooms across America and in Canada.

Project TEAMS (Technology Enhancing Achievement in Middle School) also began as a research project at Florida State University. Dr. Butzin and Dr. Robert Reiser were the co-principal investigators. TEAMS classroom management strategies and materials are available for grades 6-8. Curriculum enhancement materials are currently available for Grade 6 Language Arts and Mathematics.
